I’ve taught literature, composition, and creative writing; edited nonfiction at The Iowa Review; managed communications and marketing departments; and worked as a tutor and creative consultant.

I’m currently working on my first book, a collection of essays on modern and contemporary art, music, literature, and film. One of the essays, on John Singer Sargent, is forthcoming from Cutleaf Journal.
